Being that the description on this jacket is so minimal I took a chance and bought it anyway. I'm glad I did! It is a very high quality jacket with all the bells and whistles. It has the RECCO avalanche detector, zippered pockets everywhere, a detachable goggle cloth, a detachable hood, a skirted inside (to keep snow out), zippered vents, a special pocket for ipod, a soft felted neck (great for when zipped all the way up), and very cute on! I like that it had a longer cut. This is not a bulky jacket. I had no problem staying warm when skiing although in extreme conditions it might be to thin.
