This binding is the best binding I have ever ridden. I love the amount of flex it has and yet is still very responsive when I need it to be. I use the wedgie 4.0's that came with them and have no plans on using any other binding besides the ride line of bindings. Their shock absorbtion technology is not met by any other company and I believe it has saved my body multiple times on those all enjoyable knuckle landings. I am on my board almost everyday and obviously put a lot of wear on my gear but have had only minor issues with their durability. The reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is that the ankle strap is not comfortable (I think designed with weight in mind). Ride took care of this issue for me and their customer service has always taken care of everything--no questions asked. They seem to really stand behind their products. You can't go wrong with this binding!

Wow! These bindings are amazing.

I'm riding on a DC Backstrom MLF board with these Ride Alpha bindings in Alaska, and I'm just blown away completely. Normally, I'm used to riding with Drake bindings, so I was kind of skeptical when I first saw these.

The moment I took them from the box and felt the quality, I was blown away! The amount of planning and care that went into the construction of these bindings is unsurpassed by any company today.

One feature they don't seem to mention anywhere is that there is an underlying gel-plate about 2mm thick under the entire binding. This gel-plate actually pokes through the plate and wedgie to meet your boot right where your toes and heels are. The resulting effect is un-paralled comfort and control.

Best binding available on the market today, and perhaps for years to come. Thank you Ride!
