Performance Geometry
The lateral arms of the heel piece are angled down to apply greater pressure to the edge of the ski creating more power
directly from the skier to the ski with less energy loss. The binding becomes a performance-enhancing tool.
Forward Pressure
The binding’s forward pressure has been increased 30%, dramatically enhancing the interface between boot and binding. The
increase of pressure influences ski behavior, improving rebound and responsiveness.
Elastic Travel
The heel has 25mm of elastic travel; the longest travel of any binding on the market. Torsional Stiffness: A 40% increase in
stiffness translates into less play between the boot and binding, and a dramatic improvement in the transfer of power to the snow.
Reinforced Toe Piece
The Dual Action III toe piece has a reinforced housing in the high stress areas, which improves the overall structural integrity of
the binding. The reinforcement allows Rossignol to strengthen the torsion bar interface, facilitating greater system torsional
rigidity, while maintaining a multi-directional release toe piece.
